The dress is made up of two distinct pieces: the corset bodysuit and the dress. The body is made of silk satin, used inside out to obtain a more refined and elegant opaque effect. The structure, boning and stitching, was inspired by late nineteenth-century corsets, in order to enhance the waist and create a feminine and harmonious silhouette. The dress is made of crêpon chiffon, with a simple design on the front to highlight the richness of the body. On the back, however, it features a long train that starts from the shoulder blades and develops at the end of a tangle of laces, inspired by a famous dress worn by Grace Kelly.
